Ioannes 397 was a vestiarios; son of Sergios 82; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2060. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with the name Ιω - αν - ν - η in the corners. Rev.: βε[σ]τι - αριω υι - ω Σερ - γιου. The names and title read: Ἰωάννῃ βεστιαρίῳ υἱῷ Σεργίου.
