Ioannes 386 was hypatos, basilikos protospatharios and genikos logothetes; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2026 = Laurent, Corpus II, no. 279. The name and titles read: Ἰωάννῃ ὑπάτῳ, βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ γενικῷ λογοθέτῃ. According to Laurent, this man is slightly later in date than Ioannes 10.
