Ioannes 385 was hypatos; also called Zenon; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2064. The names and title read: Ἰωάννῃ Ζήνων ὑπάτῳ τῷ Ζήνωνι (sic). For another seal with a similar reading (possibly an identical seal), see Szemioth and Wasilewski, "Sceaux byzantins" 21. The text reads: Ἰωάννῃ ὑπάτῳ τῷ Ζηνῶνι.
