Ioannes 293 was basilikos spatharios and komes of the lamia; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth or tenth century: Konstantopoulos, JIAN 6, 206. The name and titles read: Ἰωά[ν]νῃ βασιλικῷ σπα[θα]ρίῳ καὶ κόμ[ιτ]ι τ[ῆ]ς λαμίας.
