Ioannes 260 was taboularios of Abydos; owner of a seal dateable to the sixth or seventh century: DOSeals III 40.36 = Zacos and Veglery 2805a and b (a second specimen, = Konstantopoulos, JIAN 7, 554, who dated the seal to the seventh or eighth century). Obv.: cruciform monogram of Ιωαννου. Rev.: ταβ - ουλαρ - ιο. Αβυ - .ου. The name and title read: Ἰωάννου ταβουλαρίου Ἀβύδου.
