Ioannes 121 was bishop of Lithoprosopon (location uncertain; possibly in Europa); in 787 he attended the Second Council of Nikaia (the Seventh Ecumenical Council); he is attested only at the seventh session on 13 October 787, where he is styled Ἰωάννου ἐπισκόπου Λιθοπροσώπου: Mansi XIII 373. At the seventh session he subscribed the statement of the faith adopted by the Council and is styled Ἰωάννης ἀνάξιος ἐπίσκοπος Λιθοπροσώπου: Mansi XIII 388. He is named among bishops from Europa. Possibly to be identified with Ioannes 101.
