Inger 1 was the father of Eudokia 2 (mistress of Michael III (Michael 11), and later wife of Basil I (Basilios 7)): Leo Gramm. 230, 252, Georg. Mon. Cont. 816, 838, Ps.-Symeon 655, 686. Father of Eudokia 2; he was of noble family and had a reputation for wisdom: Theoph. Cont. V 16 (p. 235) (ὴ θυγάτηρ ἐτύγχανε τοῦ παρὰ πάντων ἐπ' εὐγενείᾳ καὶ φρονήσει λαλουμένου τότε τοῦ Ἴγγερος).
