A native of Mitylene, Hadrianos 7 was the husband of Konstanto 1 and the father of David 13, Georgios 135 and Symeon 13; he was wealthy, famous and pious; he died, aged seventy-two, before 772: Acta Davidis, Symeonis et Georgii (BHG 494) 213, 4-17.
