Gregorios 172 was freed from the torment of demonic temptation by Niketas 160 at Zouloupas; this occurred during the reign of Theophilos 5; subsequently Gregorios 172 became a monk and was again cured by Niketas 160 when he fell ill; in 836 he accompanied Niketas 160 to Katesia: Vita Nicet.
