Gregorios 147 was a patrikios and magistros of Lazike; he owned a house, his principal residence, at Zichachoris, at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains, not far from the place where Anastasios 66 died in October 666; described as φιλόχριστος, Gregorios 147 was presumably an opponent of monotheletism: Theod. Spoud., Hypomnesticum, II 195 ("a praedio Zichachorio, id est prima domo Gregorii veri amici Christi patricii et magistratus eiusdem regionis Alanorum").
