Gregorios 131 was a basilikos protonotarios and episkeptites of the metaton of Phrygia; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century (DOSeals), possibly to the second half: DOSeals III 95.1 = Zacos and Veglery 3115. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Γριγο - ριω β' α' νο - ..ρ' και επις. - ...μητα' - Φρυγ'. The name and titles perhaps read: Γρηγορίῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτονοταρίῳ καὶ ἐπισκεπτίτῃ μητάτου Φρυγίας. On this post, cf. Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, p. 121 and Oikonomides, Listes, pp. 312, 338.
