Gregorios 122 was the metropolitan bishop of Nikomedeia; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century, possibly in the first half: DOSeals III 83.6 (ninth century) = Zacos and Veglery 1959 (ninth century) = Laurent, Corpus V 3, no. 1708 (early to mid ninth century). Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Γρηγο - ριω μητρο - πολιτη Νικ - ομιδ'. The name and title read: Γρηγορίῳ μητροπολίτῃ Νικομηδείας.
