Gregorios 75 was bishop of Silva Candida; present at the Council of Rome in 769: Lib. Pont. 96. 17 ("Gregorius, episcopus terretorii Silve Candide"). He is named twenty-fifth in the list of bishops from Italy. Later he was one of the three bishops (see Eustratios 11 and Theodosios 42) who pronounced the anathema in St Peter's against any one who transgressed the decisions of the Council: Lib. Pont. 96. 24 ("tres episcopi, id est Gregorius Silva Candida, Eustratius Albano et Teodosius Tibur").
