Gregorios 62 was metropolitan bishop of Kyzikos; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals III 53. 5 = Laurent, Corpus V 1, no. 347. Obv.: bust of the Virgin holding a medallion of Christ, with the letters μρ - θυ on either side and part of a legend reading: +θκε βο........δουλ'. The name and title read: Perhaps identical with the Photian bishop of that name who took part in the synod of 879 (PBE II).
