Gregorios 56 was strategos of the Optimatoi; owner of a seal dateable perhaps to the eighth or ninth century: Ebersolt, "Sceaux byzantins", p. 401, no. 526. Obv.: invocative formula and the name Γρηγόριος. Rev.: ... στρατηγὸς τῶν Ὀπτιμάτων.
