Gratiosos 4 was bishop of Nepet (in Tuscia); he attended all five sessions of the Lateran Council, from 5 October to 31 October 649, and in the list of bishops present is named in eighty-sixth place: Conc. Lat., p. 6, line 15 (Γρατιώσου ἐπισκόπου Νέπης), p. 7, line 15 ("Gratioso Nepesino episcopo") (the first session), cf. pp. 35, 115, 181 and 251 (the Latin version only is repeated for the other sessions). He subscribed the definition of the faith agreed by the Council at its fifth session: Conc. Lat., p. 398, line 35 (Γρατίωσος ἐπίσκοπος Νέπης), p. 399, line 35 ("Gratiosus episcopus sanctae Nepesine ecclesiae").
