Gerasimos 2 was a monk in the monastery of Sakkoudion in the early ninth century; he had visited Theodore the Stoudite (Theodoros 15), who mentions him in one of his sermons, referring to him as τέκνον ἀββᾶ: Theod. Stud., Catech. Magna II 62 (p. 439 Papadopoulos-Kerameus).
