Georgios 252 was hypatos and epano tou ergodosiou; owner of a seal apparently dated to the eleventh indiction in the reign of the emperor Constans II (Konstans 1), i.e. 653/654: Likhachev, "Datirovannye", pp. 186ff., no. 25 = Laurent, Corpus II, no. 638. The name and titles read: Γεωργίου ὑπάτου καὶ ἐπάνω τοῦ ἐργοδοσίου. The reading of the first title is uncertain.
