Georgios 220 was a holy man living on Mt Alsos in Lydia, at a place called Chelidon near Lissos, in the late eighth or early ninth century; shortly after Ioannikios 2 withdrew from the world he visited Georgios 220 and remained with him for three years; during that time Georgios 220 taught him the Psalms: Sabas, Vita Ioannicii 14, cf. Petrus, Vita Ioannicii 39 (he is the πανθαύμαστος γέρων - unnamed - visited by Ioannikios 2).
