Georgios 218 was an apo hypaton and stratiotikos logothetes; owner of a seal dateable to the late seventh or early eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 1912 (L VII/E VIII) = Laurent, Corpus II, no. 531 (E VIII). Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with Γε - ωρ - γι - ω in the corners. Rev.: +.πο - υπατων - και στρατιω - τικω λο - γοθετ - .[+]. The name and titles read: Γεωργίῳ ἀπὸ ὑπάτων καὶ στρατιωτικῷ λογοθέτῃ.
