Georgios 216 was basilikos spatharokandidatos and strategos of Peloponnesos; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century: DOSeals II 22.25 = Zacos and Veglery 1935. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: .Γεωρ - γιω β' σπαθ. - κανδιδατο - και στρατ' Πε - λοπονη. The name and title read: Γεωργίῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαροκανδιδάτῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ Πελοποννήσου.
