Georgios 208 was basilikos spatharokandidatos; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 1934A. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - [δου] - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Γεωρ - [γ]ιω β' σπα - [θ]αροκ[αν] - διδ[ατ]. The name and title read: Γεωργίῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαροκανδιδάτῳ.
