Georgios 148 was patrikios and genikos logothetes; owner of two seals dateable to the late eighth or early ninth century (so Laurent; Konstantopoulos proposed the eighth or ninth century): Laurent, Corpus II, no. 299a and b (b = Konstantopoulos, JIAN 6, 404). The text of Laurent reads: Γεωργίῳ πατρικίῳ καὶ γενικῷ λογοθέτῃ. Konstantopoulos gives the seal as Anonymus (cf. Anonymus 346).
