Georgios 116 was apo hypaton and dioiketes of the eparchiai; owner of a seal dateable to the seventh or eighth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 500, no. 2 (no facsimile). The obverse has the legend: +Θεοτόκε βοήθει Γεωργίῳ ἀπὸ ὑπάτων; the reverse has the legend: καὶ διοικητῇ τῶν ἐπαρχίων.
