Georgios 103 was metropolitan bishop of Rhodes; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Laurent, Corpus V 1, no. 697 = Schlumberger, Mélanges, p. 233, n. 58 = Konstantopoulos, JIAN 5, 145. Obv.: Greek cross with the invocative formula Κύριε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. Rev.: Greek cross and the legend [+][Σε] or [Γεω]ργίῳ μητροπολήτῃ Ῥόδου. On the date, see Laurent, op. cit., p. 529, note (revising both Schlumberger and Konstantopoulos). The correct form of the name, Sergios or Georgios, is not certain.
