Georgios 83 was basilikos skribon and dioiketes; owner of a seal dateable to the iconoclast period (VIII/M IX): Ebersolt, "Sceaux byzantins", p. 236, no. 370 (= p. 396, no. 495). Obv.: cruciform monogram in the name of the Virgin. Rev.: Γεώργιος βασιλικὸς σκρίβων and διοικητής. Possibly identical with Georgios basilikos skribon and dioiketes, who owned a similar seal, dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 3109 bis. The name and titles on this seal read: Γεωργίῳ βασιλικῷ σκρίβωνι καὶ διοικητῇ.
