Georgios 25 was bishop of Krateia in Honorias; in 681 he attended the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) and was present at the last eight sessions (sessions eleven to eighteen, from March 20 to September 16): Riedinger, pp. 406-827 (= Mansi XI 460-677). In the subscriptions to the statement of the faith, which condemned monotheletism, he is styled Γεώργιος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος Κρατίας Ὁνωριάδος: Riedinger, p. 792, line 19 (= Mansi XI 652). In the subscriptions to the Council he is styled Γεώργιος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος πόλεως Κρατίας: Riedinger, p. 827, line 13 (= Mansi XI 677). The old Latin version, Riedinger, p. 793, line 20 (= Mansi 651 and also 678), calls his see "ciuitatis Cratiae Honoriadis". In the lists of those attending each session he is styled Γεωργίου ἐπισκόπου Κρατίας: Riedinger, p. 406, line 16, p. 520, line 5 etc. (= Mansi XI 460, 521, etc.). He was still bishop in 692, when he attended the Quinisext Council in Constantinople and signed the canons: Ohme, Bischofsliste, p. 161, no. 145 (= Mansi XI 1000) (Γεώργιος ἐλάχιστος ἐπίσκοπος Κρατείας τῆς Ὁνωρεατῶν ἐπαρχίας).
