Georgios 20 was bishop of Kamoulianai in Cappadocia Prima; he attended the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) in 680 and 681 and was present at all eighteen sessions: Riedinger, pp. 18-825 (= Mansi XI 212-673). In the subscriptions to the statement of the faith, which condemned monotheletism, and to the Council, he is styled Γεώργιος χάριτι Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος τῆς Καμουλιανῶν πόλεως τῆς πρώτης τῶν Καππαδοκῶν ἐπαρχίας: Riedinger, p. 786, line 20, p. 825, line 31 (= Mansi XI 645, 673) (the old Latin version printed in Riedinger, p. 787, line 21, calls his see "Camulianae ciuitatis primae Cappadociae regionis"). In the lists of those attending the sessions he is styled Γεωργίου ἐπισκόπου Καμουλιανῶν : Riedinger, p. 18, line 2, p. 30, line 4 etc. (= Mansi XI 212, 220, etc.). At the eighth session (7 March 681) he declared his acceptance of the doctrine of Two Wills and Two Energies as set out in documents from pope Agatho 1 and the Roman Council: Riedinger, p. 206, lines 1-5 (= Mansi XI 341).
