Georgios 19 was a deacon and oikonomos in the church of Kios in Bithynia; he attended the seventeenth session of the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) on 11 September 681, with his bishop Theognios 1 and subscribed the statement of the faith, which condemned monotheletism, for Theognios when the latter fell ill: Riedinger, p. 736, lines 18-20 (Θεόγνιος ... ὁρίσας ὑπέγραψα διὰ ξειρὸς Γεωργίου διακόνου καὶ οἰκονόμου τῆς κατ' ἐμὲ ἁγιωτάτης ἐκκλησίας διὰ τὸ ἐν ἀσθενείᾳ με εἶναι), cf. Riedinger, p. 737, lines 19-21 (= Mansi XI 646) ("Theognius ... definiens subscripsi per manus Georgii diaconi et dispensatoris sanctae ecclesiae meae, pro infirmitate, qua detineor").
