Gabriel 6 was hypatos; owner of two similar seals dateable to the eighth century, possibly the first half: Zacos and Veglery 1466 (E/M VIII) (obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει; rev.: Γαβρι - ηλ υπα - τω), Laurent, Orghidan 86 (VIII) (obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει; rev.: + - ..βρι - η. υπα - τω). The name and title on both seals read: Γαβριὴλ ὑπάτῳ.
