Eustathios 43 was basilikos spatharokandidatos and anthypatos of the Anatolikoi; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals III 86.4 = Zacos and Veglery 1901. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - .. - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Ευστα - θιω β' σπαθ - αροκανδιδ' - και ανθυπα' τ. - ν Ανατο.. The name and titles read: Εὐσταθίῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαροκανδιδάτῳ καὶ ἀνθυπάτῳ τῶν Ἀνατολικῶν.
