Eustathios 26 was deacon of the Great Church (Hagia Sophia); owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century: Zacos II 143. Obv.: cross potent on base and two steps; circular inscription of +Κ(ύρι)ε βοήθ' το σο δουλ. Rev.: +Ευς - ταθηω δι - ακ' τις μ - εγαλ' εκ - λισια. The text reads: Εὐσταθίῳ διακόνῳ τῆς μεγάλης ἐκκλησίας.
