Eustathios 25 was basilikos spatharokandidatos; owner of two similar seals, dateable to the second half of the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 1900 (second half of ninth century; the text reads: Εὐσταθίῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαροκανδιδάτῳ), Konstantopoulos, JIAN 7, 534 (eighth or ninth century; the text reads: Εὐστ[α]θίῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθ[αρο]κανδιδάτ[ῳ]).
