Euodios 1 was a monk; he was the author of an account of the martyrdom of the Forty Two Martyrs of Amorion: Mart. XLII Amor., BHG 1214, p. 61 (συγγραφὲν ὑπὸ Εὐωδίου μοναχοῦ). It was probably an early version, written in the ninth century; cf. Beck, Kirche, p. 511.
