Esdrael 1 was the son of Ioannes 318; owner of a seal dateable to the early ninth century: Zacos II 919. Obv.: lion, moving right, in a border of tendrils. Rev.: +Κεβ' - ησδραηλ - υοσιωα - ννου. The text reads: Κύριε βοήθει Ἠσδραὴλ υἱὸς Ἰωάννου.
