Epiphanios 55 was dioiketes; owner of a seal dateable to the seventh or early eighth century: Panchenko, Katalog 245. The name and title read: Ἐπιφανίῳ διοικητῇ. The date, given as ninth or tenth century in Panchenko, can be no later than the early eighth century according to Shandrovskaia and Sokolova; see Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, p. 134.
