Epiphanios 36 was an hypatos; owner of two similar seals dateable to the first half of the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 1871 (obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - δου - λω - σου in the corners; rev.: Επιφα - νιω υπ - ατω), Zacos and Veglery 1872 (obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with [τ]ω - σω - δου - λω in the corners; rev.: [Ε]πηφα - νηω υ - πατω). The name and titles on both seals read: Ἐπιφανίῳ ὑπάτῳ.
