Epiphanios 15 was archbishop of Kios; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century: DOSeals III 50.2a and b (a = Laurent, Corpus V 1, no. 834 = EO 31 (1932), pp. 438-439). Obv.: Virgin standing, holding Christ, with a circular legend: +υπεραγια Θε - οτοκε βοηθει. Rev.: + - +Επιφανιω - αρχιεπισκοπω - Κιου δουλω των - δουλων του Θεου - +. He is identified by Laurent, op. cit., p. 649, note, with the bishop of Kios, Epiphanios, who attended the Photian Synod in 879/880 (Mansi XVIIA, col. 373 D).
