Epiphanios 13 was a basilikos protospatharios and strategos of Am...(?); owner of a seal dateable perhaps to the ninth or tenth century: Ebersolt, "Sceaux byzantins", pp. 404-405, no. 543. Obv.: invocative formula in the name of the Lord. Rev.: Ἐπιφάνιος βασιλικὸς πρωτοσπαθάριος and στρατηγὸς Ἀμ... (?). The name of his strategia is not certain; Ebersolt's suggestion of Amaseia has no parallel and is unlikely; perhaps Amastris (which later had a katepan). Or else the reading Ἀμ... is perhaps wrong and might be Ἀρ(μενιακῶν) or Ἀν(ατολικῶν).
