Donatos 4 was vestiarios; owner of seals dateable to the eighth century, possibly the middle third of the century: Zacos and Veglery 1858a and b (VIII) = Laurent, Corpus II, no. 687 (M VIII). The two seals have the same readings. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Δονα - τω βες - τιαρει. Zacos and Veglery mention three more similar seals in their series. The name and title read: Δονάτῳ βεστιάρει.
