Domitios 2 was bishop of Prymnessos in Phrygia Salutaris; in 681 he attended the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) and was present at the last eight sessions (sessions eleven to eighteen, from 20 March to 16 September): Riedinger, pp. 406-828 (= Mansi XI 460-680). In the subscriptions to the statement of the faith, which condemned monotheletism, he is styled Δομέτιος ἐλέει θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος πόλεως Πρυμνησοῦ τῆς Φρυγῶν Σαλουταρῶν ἐπαρχίας: Riedinger, p. 790, line 3 (= Mansi XI 648). In the subscriptions to the Council he is styled Δομέτιος ἐλέει θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος Πρυμνησοῦ: Riedinger, p. 828, line 32 (= Mansi XI 680). The old Latin version printed in Riedinger, p. 791, line 3 calls his see "ciuitatis Promissi". In the lists of those attending each session he is styled Δομετίου ἐπισκόπου Πρυμνισσοῦ or similar: Riedinger, p. 406, line 25, p. 520, line 14 etc. (= Mansi XI 460, 521, etc.)
