Desiderios 2 was bishop of Eporedia in N. Italy; he was one of the hundred and twenty-five Western bishops who attended the Council of Rome at Easter 680, and who subscribed the decree condemning monotheletism: Riedinger, p. 150, lines 1-2 (= Mansi XI 307-308) (Δεσιδέριος ἐπίσκοπος τῆς ἁγίας ἐκκλησίας Ἱππορικῆς; the old Latin version printed in Riedinger, p. 151, line 1, calls his see "sanctae ecclesiae Ypporiensis").
