Desiderios 1 was bishop of Cremona; he was one of the hundred and twenty-five Western bishops who attended the Council of Rome at Easter 680, and who subscribed the decree condemning monotheletism: Riedinger, p. 148, lines 30-32 (= Mansi XI 305-308) (Δεσιδέριος ἐπίσκοπος τῆς ἁγίας ἐκκλησίας Κρεμόνσου; the old Latin version printed in Riedinger, p. 149, line 25, calls his see "sanctae ecclesiae Remolensis").
