Demetrios 13 was protospatharios and epi ton barbaron; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth or tenth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 452, no. 16. The seal is said to be in the British Museum. The text given by Schlumberger reads: Κ(ύρι)ε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλ(ῳ) Δεμιτρίῳ (πρωτο)σπαθαρ[(ίῳ) (καὶ) ἐπὶ] τῶν βαρβά(ρων).
