Demetrios 6 was paraphylax of Thessalonike; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals I 18.52 = Zacos and Veglery 3101. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: .Δη.τρ. - ω παραφυ - λακη Θε - ..αλ'. The name and title read: Δη[μη]τρ[ί]ῳ παραφύλακη Θε[σσ]αλ[ονίκης ].
