Dekorosos 1 was bishop of Capua in Campania; he was one of the hundred and twenty-five Western bishops who attended the Council of Rome at Easter 680, and who subscribed the decree condemning monotheletism: Riedinger, p. 142, lines 4-6 (= Mansi XI 300) (Δεκόροσος χάριτι Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος τῆς ἁγίας ἐκκλησίας Καπούας ἐπαρχίας Καμπανίας; called "Decorosus" in the old Latin version printed in Riedinger, p. 143, line 4).
