Dekentios 1 was bishop of Forum Flaminii; he was one of the hundred and twenty-five Western bishops who attended the Council of Rome at Easter 680, and who subscribed the decree condemning monotheletism: Riedinger, p. 144, lines 29-31 (= Mansi XI 303-304) (Δεκέντιος ἐλάχιστος ἐπίσκοπος τῆς ἁγίας ἐκκλησίας Φοροφλαμίνου; the old Latin version printed in Riedinger, p. 145, line 25, calls his see "sanctae ecclesiae Foroflaminiensis").
