Daniel 4 was metropolitan bishop of Kyzikos; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals III 53.2 = Laurent, Corpus V 1, no. 348. Obv.: Virgin, standing, holding Christ, with a circular inscription reading: +υπεραγια....οηθει. Rev.: ..ω σω - δουλω Δα - νιηλ μητρ - οπολιτ' Κ - υζικου.
