Damianos 18 was basilikos kommerkiarios of Thessalonike and paraphylax of Abydos; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals III 40.22 = Zacos and Veglery 1840. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Δαμι - αν' β' κομε - ρκ' Θεσαλ και π - ραφ' Αβυδ.
