Christophoros 50 was a Stoudite monk; his defection is mentioned in two letters of Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite), written between 809 and 811: Theod. Stud., Ep. 40 (line 164 ὁ ψευδώνυμος Χριστοφόρος, he had returned like a dog to his vomit), Ep. 41 (he had separated from Barsanouphios 2).
